When I Say Mary, You Say Bullard...

Updates: This week Ian and I are working solo at Mary Bullard's house. With the interior just wrapping up thanks to some stellar volunteers from Ithaca College and the University of Georgia, we are now focusing on exterior work.

Someone once told me if we were to leave New Orleans alone, untouched by man, for just a few months, nature would swallow the city up completely. Often in these houses that lay vacant for a while, the outside comes inside. The picture below caught some plant life sneaking in through Ms. Bullard's back door. Therefore, Ian and I must make sure the exterior is a fortress against the cruel, unfeeling flora of the delta.

Thanks to the volunteers, great job gang!
