Cleveland House Yo

Happy New Years Ya'll...2012 here we come...
Well, I know 1 thing,
WE ARE MAKING BIG THINGS HAPPEN AT CLEVELAND ST. HOUSE...

Since the break over Christmas, I have had the pleasure of working with 3 different sets of volunteers.

The first group from SMU had the task of sheathing the front exterior.

They loved swinging the hammers and pounding nails... :>)

After they put up the sheathing, they strted cutting out the windows.  After alittle guidance, they got rollin' on sawin' dem' windows out...Look how much fun she having....      Power tools = Fun...

Thanks SMU!!!  (and a big shout out to Paul Baldwin for the help that week, you are a rock star)

The Hanley group, from California, came on down to Nola next, and we tyveked the front.
They also worked on the sides of the exterior.  It was tough work but they handled it like navy seals, like grizzly ma's protectin their young, chuck norris on roids, anyway, you get it...

Great big windows bout to go in.    Go...

Going...

Gone...  Looks great. Great work from the Hanley group.  Thanks ya'll...

This week has been rough.  A bunch of law students from Fordham in New York, have come down and worked so hard, they're puttin me to shame. :)  These cats dont play, if ya know what me mean....

Notice the cat like stance... Roar...

Whether its hammering out nails in the old siding,

Or setting the third level of sheathing, (note the heads peekin over)...

Even sawin out new windows...

These cats found zen of working hard and gettin some.  Thanks alot ya'll, you made me smile and it was great workin with ya'll.

Oh, and thanks for finally lettin me out of there... Ha... ;>).

Holla @ ya boi,,,
