PNOLA: Proud to be a New Orleanian and HAPPY BIRTHDAY JIM!

Hey Friends,

I am happy to announce that after my efforts the past two days our website has now been updated with our current projects - including client profiles, photos, links to related blog posts, and flickr albums!!  Go to our website and click on "Current Project" and check it out!

It is FRIDAY and fortunately I did get to step away from my computer for a few minutes, and go out in the sun to help unload a truck load of tools donated by the gracious folks over at UCC!!

It is feeling a little bit like fall down here here in NOLA so to any groups that will be coming down in December and January, make sure to check the weather forecasts before you head on down and pack some layers!  I am from the northeast where it gets REALLY cold but just an FYI!

I am looking forward to meeting the next wave of volunteer groups that are joining us this December and January!  I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!! Looking forward to the rest of the holiday season!  If you have a few dollars to spare, our fearless leader Jim has a birthday wish on Facebook - you have until Sunday to wish him a HAPPY 26th by DONATING to Rebuild New Orleans!  Click here to donate!

It's shaping up to be a great weekend here in New Orleans where our Saints are hosting the Detroit Lions at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome!!  If you are in the neighborhood, you may find Jim cruising around Champion's Square before the game!! WHO DAT!!

A special shout out to our Hope for the Holidays rebuilding partners, New Orleans Saint's players Malcolm Jenkins, Lance Moore, and Jahri Evans!!! Updates on the progress of Mary Rush and the Nelson family on our website!!
