From Banks Street to Erato...

Afternoon PNOLA followers! It has been an exciting and productive two weeks here at the Phoenix, here's our latest update!

Will, Chris and myself spent our first week in the field at Ms. Polly's house on Banks Street. There's still quite a bit of finishing work to get her house polished and ready to move in but we're getting closer everyday! Here's the granite shower tiles I installed last week...

Next Step... Grout! Looking forward to tackling this bathroom...

As of this week, PNOLA has launched a sheetrock project at Ms. Lucinda's house on Erato St. Fortunately we were blessed to have volunteers and AmeriCorps NCCC members from the United Saints Recovery Project give us a hand!

So far we've successfully cleared out her home, completed the final stages of demo, and hung insulation. As of this afternoon we have hung sheetrock throughout nearly half of Ms. Lucinda's house...

We we're even lucky enough to spend the afternoon with our lovely homeowner!

A few more days of drywall hanging and we should be on the road to mudding mania! Stay posted on future updates on Ms. Lucinda's house... Thank you to our volunteers from S.V.I. Arkansas and the United Saints!

In Service,

Jen
